Inspiration

In recent years, the landscape of blockchain project fundraising has become increasingly unfair and unappealing for retail investors. In 2013, Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) were introduced to "decentralize" the fundraising process, allowing everyone to participate in early investment opportunities. However, with the emergence of Initial Exchange Offerings (IEOs) and Initial DEX Offerings (IDOs), the process has become more "centralized". Venture capitalists and private investors now dominate early token allocations, leaving retail investors with minimal allocations and inflated fully diluted valuations (FDVs).

This shift has resulted in a low-float, high-FDV environment, where projects launch with exaggerated valuations, and retail investors are often left purchasing tokens at overvalued prices.

Unlike traditional ICOs, IEOs, or IDOs, where investors receive project tokens directly, Krystal ILO offers investors locked liquidity positions. These positions follow the project's predefined locking and vesting schedules.
